Enter aims to apply a multidisciplinary approach that believes in the variety of scales and society interaction as a key to interpretate the role of the architect in contemporaneity.

We research and explore the traditional link between design and construction according to the approach that makes “learning by doing” its foundation. The project is therefore a research opportunity to explore the continuous generation of ideas as a point of connection between space and needs, pursuing the objective of overall cumulative unity in individual situations.

As an incubator, Enter transposes a physical space as a meeting point. As such becomes a “startup command” to generate new dynamics. The different realities interact in the shared space to create a close network of relationships within the tank, a new unit intensify by international bonds as a result of individual experiences.

Enter applies this disciplinary approach to the various scales as method of action in contemporary society.

WHERE

ENTER is located in the heart of Genoa aiming to contribute to the urban regeneration of the historic center of the city. We have reopened an old commercial space closed for almost 15 years among ancient workshops turned into garage and the pranked eyes of curious passers-by.

The Old Town historically represents a production site rich of various activities. Enter starts from the idea of a workshop where production and culture merge together. Enter is networking with a cultural and vital emerging fabric. It’s a production and meeting place, where different activities will alternate.

WHY GENOA?

A mixture of sensations given by the charm and beauty of the city and the challenge facing the immobility that has characterized the city for many years. Enter tries to contribute, even to a minimum, to the cultural and economic revival of Genoa.

We believe that regeneration could also start from very concrete small actions, and our workplace aims to contribute to the process.
